Late fee
5% of the unpaid balance or $10, whichever is greater (or as permitted by law). Charged every month you stay behind.
Grace period / breathing room
None stated: a late fee can be charged as early as the day after the due date. A payment arrangement can stop suspension but does not stop late fees.
First late fee waived?
Maybe: if you are eligible to dispute a late fee, the option appears on the Bill Details page in My Verizon (account owner/manager only).
Autopay
Auto Pay available (one payment source for the whole bill).
